Lisa is a writer and a storyteller at heart—and it comes through in her artwork. Several themes emerge as she engages in this visual journey: Vistas, doorways, arches, bridges, cityscapes and crosswalks, to name a few. She invites you to enter her story. The open doorway or colorful crosswalk beckons and implies that there’s something special to explore on the other side. Often Lisa Leach art can be epic in its scope. 

Being a high energy person, Lisa likes to infuse that energy into  all the work she creates. Therefore many of her subjects have a feel of being constantly in motion. She captures the energy and vibrancy of life and the pieces that she creates capture that intensity. 

One unique thing Lisa does is to “enter the vision.” In other words, she allows herself to engage in the intuitive or spiritual aspect of the artwork, opening up to see with her heart as well as her eyes. This is especially true when she does commissions. She finds herself picking up insights as to the gifts and unique qualities of each person with whom she collaborates.
